Vespexx (co-CEOs Joowon Jung and Mijin Son), a femtech startup, has been selected for the 2026 Global ICT Future Unicorn program (ICT GROWTH), run by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The company attended the certificate ceremony at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul on June 10 and received its certificate as a selected company.

The Global ICT Future Unicorn program is run by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and NIPA to back digital companies with strong global growth potential. It brings overseas acceleration, investment support, and credit guarantees together in one package. This year, 49 companies applied across ICT convergence fields including AI and AX (AI transformation), a 3.3-to-1 ratio, and 15 were selected.
Vespexx plans to use the program to grow Soonr, its fertility and preconception platform for couples. Soonr is built for couples preparing for pregnancy together. Using hormone data from the Surearly SMART device and information about daily habits, it helps both partners manage the preparation process side by side. Vespexx recently listed the Surearly SMART starter kit on Amazon in the US, its first step into the North American market.
Selected companies take part in region-specific programs abroad. Vespexx chose the Silicon Valley track, where two weeks of on-the-ground business meetings and one-on-one mentoring will help lay the groundwork for bringing Soonr to the US market.

For Vespexx, the selection adds a US execution base to a global expansion that's already underway. After opening a direct line to US consumers through its Amazon listing, the company is continuing partnership talks with several global players. The local mentoring and the investor and customer network from the ICT GROWTH Silicon Valley program add speed to that momentum. Vespexx sees the second half of this year as the point where it moves in earnest into the US market.
"ICT GROWTH adds local execution speed to the network we've built," said Joowon Jung, co-CEO of Vespexx. "In Silicon Valley this half, we'll test the US-market potential of a couple-centered approach to fertility and turn it into real business."

Vespexx is an AI femtech company focused on preconception and couples' health. Its main products are Soonr, the fertility and preconception platform for couples, and Signaling, a couples' wellness app used by more than 800,000 people to date.
